Project Cycle Management Training/Workshop at BASR PDF Print E-mail

 

Nineteen participants from Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation completed 27 training hours in Project Cycle Management. The training/workshop was conducted by Franciscus van Gerwen, an international consultant who provides consulting and training services in the international development cooperation sector for a wide range of clients in the public, private and NGO sector.

The workshop aimed at building capacity in the field of Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Result Based Management (RBM); improving the understanding of the logical framework approach and related indicators and risk-assessment; selecting the best monitoring instruments and methods to satisfy requirements in BASR, and raising awareness of the importance of monitoring, quality evaluation, results and outcomes of the BASR’s work.

Among the participants there were the heads of departments, Director of Program Development, Head of the Psycho-Social Intervention Program, Psycho-Social Intervention Program coordinator, HR and Knowledge Management Manager, PR and Fundraising Officer, Program and Development Officer, Head of the Nursing Staff, Director of Rehabilitation, Head of the Outreach Program, CBR supervisor, Disability Rights Officer, 2 staff nurses, 1 social worker, 1 psychologist
