Honoring Ceremony in the International Nurses Day PDF Print E-mail

In the attendance of the Senior Leadership Team, heads of departments, doctors, and other staff, Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation organized an honoring ceremony for the nursing staff in the occasion of the International Nurses Day that is celebrated on 12th of May annually.

The ceremony was opened by a speech of Mr. Edmund Shehadeh, the General Director who congratulated the nursing staff in this occasion on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of the Trustees. He also expressed thanks for their tremendous efforts in serving the patients and for constantly seeking to provide creative ideas for the development of the organization which in turn leads to improving the quality of the services rendered to the Palestinian people.

The Medical Director, Dr. Zuhair Qumsiyeh also congratulated the nursing staff and praised their roles in improving the nursing care provided to patients pointing out that the nursing profession is a significant healthcare profession that help patients recover and improve their quality of life.

George Khier, the Head of the Nursing Department, said that the nursing profession is a constantly evolving specialization and said that he is proud to have such a dedicated nursing staff at BASR.

The ceremony was ended by delivering certificates of recognition to the most distinguished nurses for this year.
